Event Policies

All tour attendees must read and accept the following event policies.

These policies are in place to ensure that every fan is treated equally and is 100% satisfied with their visit. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Location and Check-in

Our tours and events will take place at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, 11 Sand Pond Road, Hardwick, NJ, USA on the date printed on your ticket.  This active, youth camping facility is closed to the public at all other times.  If you have any questions, please contact us via this website.  Do not call the camp with any tour related questions – our regular camp staff will not be able to assist.

Crystal Lake Adventures is under no obligation to provide transportation to or from these events. Please arrange all transportation in advance. There are unfortunately no buses or trains close to the camp.  The closest buses and trains will be in Hackettstown, NJ. You should be able to get a taxi / ride share to the event, but it may be difficult or impossible to get picked up from the area of the camp. In addition, cellular connectivity can be challenging in the area of the camp. We would recommend scheduling your return ride in advance through a local car service.

This is a filming location tour. Please do not arrive in any costume unless otherwise noted for your specific tour session.

All attendees will be required to sign a release upon entering the camp.

After check-in, small groups will be formed.  Each group will have a tour guide. Your group will then visit our famous filming locations. At no time will attendees be able to wander the grounds on their own.

Tickets, Refunds and Transfers

Tickets are available exclusively through this website. No tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the event. No refunds, all ticket sales are final. Ticket fees are never refundable under any circumstance. Thank you for supporting the youth camping programs of Northern New Jersey Council, BSA!

All attendees must arrive with a printed ticket. The minimum age for all tour sessions is 13 unless otherwise noted for a specific tour session. Each child must be accompanied by a ticketed legal guardian.  A birth certificate photocopy can be used as proof of age if needed. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian with ticket at all times.

Tickets are required to enter the camp property. If you are being dropped off, anyone without a ticket must depart the property immediately.

Tour tickets are good for the date and time printed on the ticket and may not be transferred to another date/time. Ticket resale is prohibited. To resolve any unforeseen ticketing issues, the ticket purchaser should arrive with matching photo ID. Thanks for your understanding while we make this fair for all fans.

Please ensure that you are on time for the tour. The tour start time will be printed on your ticket. There is no need to arrive early, but please do not arrive late. The gate will close 10 minutes after the start time printed on your ticket. Late arrivals will unfortunately not be able to join the group. All tour attendees must exit the property at the end of the tour so we can prepare for the next tour. Re-entry is prohibited at all times.

Attendee Behavior

All attendees will follow common sense rules for public behavior, personal interaction, common courtesy and respect the personal property of fellow fans. Harassing or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. If you experience any issues, please notify your tour guide.

Absolutely no pets allowed.

Attendees agree to not remove any objects from the camp property.  All bags are subject to search.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited on the camp property. Drugs, alcoholic beverages and all types of weapons are prohibited on the camp property at all times. Anyone arriving under the influence will be denied entry.

Payments

While at the tour, you will have opportunities to purchase souvenirs and special photo opportunities. Since cellular connectivity is unreliable at the camp, your best payment option is cash to avoid disappointment. If celebrity guests are scheduled for your event, the payment for autographs and photos is handled by the guest with no involvement from Crystal Lake Adventures.

Photo and Recording Equipment

Use of personal photo and video equipment for personal photos and videos will be limited to areas featured in the movie. Continuous filming is not permitted.  Attendees may not photograph or record their tour guides or other attendees unless otherwise agreed. Professional photo and video equipment is not permitted. All types of commercial / monetized photography and videography is prohibited. Usage of live streaming hardware or software is not permitted at the event. Use of any type of drone is prohibited on the property.

Photo Release

By purchasing a ticket, you grant the Northern New Jersey Council, Boy Scouts of America (NNJC) and Crystal Lake Adventures, LLC (CLA) as well as their authorized representatives, the right and permission to use and publish the photographs / film / videotapes / electronic representations and / or sound recordings made during the tour and hereby release the Boy Scouts of America, the local council, the activity coordinators, and all employees, volunteers, related parties, or other organizations associated with the activity from any and all liability from such use and publication. You further authorize the reproduction, sale, copyright, exhibit, broadcast, electronic storage, and / or distribution of said photographs / film / videotapes / electronic representations and / or sound recordings without limitation at the discretion of the NNJC and CLA and specifically waive any right to any compensation you may have for any of the foregoing.

Weather and Cancellations

This event will be held rain or shine. If the event is threatened by dangerous weather or any emergency, information updates will be sent to the ticket purchaser’s registered email address. If the event needs to be postponed for any reason, the event will be rescheduled and your tickets will be honored on that date. If the event needs to be cancelled, tickets will be refunded (minus ticketing fees). In the unlikely event that a scheduled special guest needs to cancel for reasons out of our control, the event will continue without the guest appearance.

Accessibility

This is a walking tour, approximately 1 mile in length.  Although we will make reasonable accommodations to make the event handicapped-accessible, visitors must understand that the underlying geography of the area and the age of the buildings will limit or block access to many areas.  If you have a concern regarding a specific disability, please contact us before purchasing a ticket.

Violations

Northern New Jersey Council, BSA and Crystal Lake Adventures, LLC reserve the right to refuse entry or remove from the property anyone who violates or is assumed to have violated these terms and conditions, any law, or any policy of the Boy Scouts of America.

Changes

Northern New Jersey Council, BSA and Crystal Lake Adventures, LLC reserve the right to change these event policies at any time. We also reserve the right to correct any errors, omissions or inaccuracies that may occur during the ticketing process.
