Custom Burl Pen (#22)

This custom pen was handcrafted by one of our very own camp counselors. The wood used for this pen was taken from a burl which is a tree growth where the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It is commonly found in the form of a rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk or branch that is filled with small knots from dormant buds. This burl had been growing on a tree located directly outside of the Main Cabin featured in the movie. Each pen is totally unique with its own character in the wood grain.

The distinctively detailed Lenape pen will appeal to any Archer; whether they love target archery, bowhunting or are into more traditional bows. The tip is embellished with leather-like stitching and is inspired by an arrow quiver that holds extra arrows, which sticks out of the backend. The clip represents the shape and curvature of a classic recurve bow. The center band features arrowheads displayed around the pen body. And the pen tip is inspired by the tip of an arrow. Includes a smooth writing Parker style refill. Additional refills are easy to find online.
