A bucket list item for any Friday the 13th, Part 1 fan!
Our guided tours will take you back in time to the famous filming locations at our historic camp in Hardwick, New Jersey, USA. Each small group of fans is led by a member of our friendly and knowledgeable tour staff. These walking tours range in length up to approximately 1 mile and include time at each filming location to take photos and reenact scenes. Please come prepared with comfortable walking shoes and apparel to match the weather forecast.
These tours and events support restoration and maintenance projects at the historic camp as well as support youth camping programs throughout the Northern New Jersey Council, BSA. Each event is planned, organized and executed by camp alumni who are deeply passionate about preserving the camp experience for generations of youth to come. Thank you for supporting these causes!
What is included with the tour?
Each set of our tours varies slightly. Please see the event description for details of individual tour sessions.
Past examples include:
- Full length walking tours that visit all of the filming locations in the camp and shorter lakefront tours that take you directly to the center of the movie set.
- Morning, afternoon, evening and flashlight tour sessions.
- Celebrity guests and movie artifact appearances.
- Exclusive gift souvenirs and apparel.
- Meals in our historic dining hall.
- Special activities such as canoeing, archery, special guest Q&A sessions, etc.
- …and other extraordinary experiences that you won’t find anywhere else!

What other events are available?
Our last cast reunion was the largest gathering of cast and crew since the filming. Past events have included overnight stays, canoeing on the lake, archery on the range – and we’ve got incredible plans for the future! These future events will be announced to our ticket waitlist.
When is the next reunion event?
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our previously planned reunion has been postponed.
Our larger reunion events sell out quickly. To relieve the stress of the ticket buying process for these events, we have moved to a ticket waitlist system. As demand far exceeds the supply of tickets, most of our reunion events won’t be publicly announced. For a chance to purchase tickets to a future reunion event, please enter our ticket waitlist. Can I have a private large group tour or event at the camp?
If you have a group of 20 or more that would like a private tour or event at the camp, please submit a request by entering your information here. Our ability to service these requests will vary based on camp and staff availability.
